Learning with the magical art of story telling!

When was the last time your child told you a story?
Coming to think of it, it has been recently that I heard the stories from my children with the arrival of the colgate strong teeth packs at the doorstep. It was afternoon when the courier guy delivered the packs, and to my happiness my kids just had their lunch, and as soon as they saw something interesting on the packs inside, they did not wait, and both of them sat down with the scissors and cut down the characters on the packs, and began arranging and creating their own stories. It was a pure delight to see them engaged into the activity and listening to them with the amazing spell of the stories and ideas they had in them was mesmerizing beyond limits that I have been rejoicing even while writing down the post. I was actually amazed to see the unlocking of their imagination and creations of the stories around the characters in the packs.

Sea world is a whole new world which has lots of mystical world hidden into it and children when come to associate themselves with the sea world, they have loads of amazing ideas which I recently discovered with their story telling with the colgate packs. The new Colgate Strong Teeth packs come with interesting sea creatures & with huge amount of trivia inside them. There were four (4) different packs that arrived - The treasure hunt, Coral reefs, pirate ship, and the magical mermaid.

The best part about the whole story telling has been the interaction that the kids have been coming up with. It is an amazing experience for a mother to see their kids engaging themselves in conversation and coming up with the stories and discussing up the stories amongst themselves. This made me realize of the importance of healthy sessions among the siblings and with the story telling, it just got better. I was a listener and spectator to their conversations. Also, it got more exciting when they involved into the story telling, allowing me to listen to their creativities flowing through them and later questioning me about their stories and asking me for the learnings. It was another learning for me to teach lessons to the kids through story telling as they were able to link the situations and take up the learning from it.
This art of story telling not only helped in unlocking the imagination of not only my kids, but also helped me to learn a lot. It has come out to be a delightful experience where me and my kids have had a lot of fun and learning from the stories that they came up with. Also, the kids have decorated their room with the characters and still play around with them, coming up new narrations every day.
I would really thank colgate for coming up with this great idea and bringing parents and children to engage into the art of story telling together, which made imagination from both, parents and children to flow in unison.
